Plan of Action
Shot Schedule:
First Shoot: Friday 24th January
Second Shoot: Friday 31st January
Third Shoot: Friday 7th February
Editing: Monday 24th February
Final shoot for fillers or new shots: Friday 28th February
Final Editing: Monday 3rd March.
Location list:
The location of our music video will be focused in one location which is Kearsney park. Our choice of location is due to our requirement of a safe forest area that has easy access and is close by. This location also has close food and drink services near by, with a main road that allows travelling with ease. It is ideal for our Alice in wonderland theme as it has multiple forest areas, all with different aesthetics, different trees, perfect for the progression of the story in our music video. It also has trails and a small waterfall area which can be used in the final chase scene to add a different environment into the video. As a group we wanted an environment which was as similar as possible to the world within the story of Alice in Wonderland.

Storyboard Stage One: Pages One to Three
Director and Performer Notes
Shot 1
D: A low angled medium shot of Alice. She is laid down with cards rising upwards from the ground. To accomplish this shot our group will all have cards and will throw them at the same time. We will then reverse the shot to make it look as if they are rising upwards.
P: The performer will need to stay still on the ground.
Shot 2
D: The end product of the second shot should appear as though Alice rises from the ground from a laying position to a standing position with out moving her arms or legs or any attempt to stand up. To accomplish this a medium shot of the performer starting from a standing position to a laying position will be needed and then later reversed when editing.
P: The performer will have to stand with their arms straight by their sides and then slowly drift backwards into a position of laying down. The same position in the first shot, so that consistency can be maintained and a cleaner image.
Shot 3
D: A birds eye view shot of Alice standing among an empty woods is required in order to exaggerate the fact that she is alone in another world. The birds eye shot will need to be taken from a high angle. Therefore Dylan our camera man will need to be stationed in a tree or high ledge near by.
P: The performer will need to stand among a isolated area but is free to wander or turn in order to portray distress or worry.

Changes To Storyboard
Production Design
As shown above the opening of our music video uses a reverse shot so that cards appear to be rising from Alice's body , the finishing product should appear similar to the one above, using a wide shot so that the location is visible and giving a clear view of all the cards rising. As Alice travels through the forest, the waterfall and rocks should be incorporated into the shot in order to show a change in location, as well as Alice's journey through a changing wonderland. Alice is soon introduced to the Mad Hatter at the tea party, this shot has a high use of Mise en Scene, with in this shot our group wanted the table to be filled with cakes, stacked cups and candles in order to keep a magical element to the wonderland theme. Close ups of props such as the candles and the Rabbits watch will be used to give a variety of different shots, whilst also reiterating the theme and keeping the consumer entertained.
Our music video consists of three central characters, Alice, the Rabbit and the Mad Hatter. When costume design was considered our group wanted to maintain the traditional costume design for the three characters, so that the audience could identify them and the traditional storyline, whilst acknowledging our own influence into the music video. The Rabbit for example later wears makeup, with dark black rings around his eyes, a white face and a suit to make him surreal looking, and in fact show that he doesn't belong.
